Im posting this for anyone who can relate as words of encouragement to Never Give Up because for every TEST there is a TESTIMONY...
It's sad how sometimes loved ones can hurt you the most but that's why God gave everyone the Gift of Choice. Choose to surround yourself with a strong support system but know it's a 2-way street. If your the only one putting forth effort into maintaining a relationship or friendship with someone then maybe they are not a true friend. When your calls don't get returned and there are constant excuses for why they don't have time for you but somehow find the time for everyone else...READ INBETWEEN THE LINES! Beware because everyone that smiles in your face is NOT your friend! I see it ALL the time but it don't get to me anymore because I'm mature enough to understand that people Judge no matter what while others just have personal issues. If I speak properly i'm stuck up but if I use slang then i'm ghetto? That's why kids now a days are soo confused trying to "fit it" and falling to "peer pressure" because they were born labeled and don't know who to be. BE YOURSELF & DO YOU! I remember back when I 1st started Modeling, some talked behind my back that I was some type of Hoe just because my Pics were simply sexy. WELL that's why they say when you Assume you make an ASS of yourself. Wasn't sleeping around nor was I looking for handouts. I've been working hard my ENTIRE life to make it in this world. Had I of let those negative attitudes discourage or break me, I may of quit the industry all together long ago. YEARS LATER my progression and work simply speak for itself! Although I almost gave up on life all together, God reached down and kept me close. Now I'm stronger and better than ever! That's just GOOD KARMA All my life I've gone out of my way to help others so he went out of his way to help me in return. Know that just because we didn't walk the same path don't make you better than me or me better than you... Nikki J.
