Wells
Run Dry
Will you stay when the
well runs dry? I ask
Going the extra mile to
refill what’s missing
What once was that has
become suspended
I ponder, will you stay
if the peak is not high
Yet balanced at levels along
the sky’s horizon
In peace with position
looking down upon none
Stay will you I wonder
should shine be not bright
Still burning internally,
warmth in frozen times
Existent from
persistent compassion and trust
Are you going to stay loyal?
Stays on my mind
Dedicated committed
while doubts submissive
Passive in thoughts
from truth of one’s being
Thinking you’ll stay
gives completion of trinity
Thou knowing you won’t fill wells of dry eyes
